No matter who you are, it's difficult to eat healthy. A lot of people don't even know what it means to eat healthy. It's often easier, more appealing, and usually cheaper to buy candy, doritos or a Big Mac than it is to buy oranges, cucumbers, tilapia or hummus. It takes discipline to get there, but it is possible for anybody to make good food choices and get the body they've always wanted!

Good Job Jas! I'm glad you have researched the healthy foods and have made the choices to eat them.

Parents can try to teach kids as they grow up about nutrition but they are really not interested. Then the teens come and they can have the freedom to skip lunch and have junk food. Many times they go years after high school and just eat junk because they "can" and no one is telling them what to do.

Then one day they realize what the healthy foods are and how bad the junk food is and that it makes you feel terrible.

Yes, it is important to have family snack times, but healthy meals are very essential. If only kids would eat their veggies and fruits and realize the importance of it.

You have a wealth of knowledge and have done your homework dear. Great job!!!
